Let’s Make a Community Center More Than Just a Dream
We are very pleased to announce that several members of the Community have formed the McCandless Community Association (MCA), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization recognized by the Bureau of Charitable Organizations and the U.S. Internal Revenue Service whose mission is to build a strong community. We plan to not only offer opportunities for community events, but to support organizations that provide us with the safety and security we have come to know, such as first responders. We also plan to work on a feasibility study for a Community Center and to solicit grants and corporate donations to make that dream a reality. All donations are tax-deductible.

Our board will grow as we grow. We hope that community members will be an integral part of the organization and share our goals. Our website is up and running, but is a work in progress. We are particularly in need of a Certified Public Accountant to act as Treasurer.
We will send more announcements on Access McCandless as we delve further into the process of establishing our organization. We are currently planning several large fundraisers for 2018 that will be tons of fun and will help to create a great sense of community and camaraderie.
